The Queensland Golf Union will display Queensland's Golfing
History for the next three months in an exciting initiative
that will see the "Old and New" of Queensland's
Golfing History in one place.
Among the significant items on display are the following:
· Greg Norman's first professional golf bag,
· the "Gutty" used by the Governor General
Lord Forster to open Royal Queensland Golf Club
· Norman Von Nida's clubs and a golf bag given to him
by Jack Nicklaus.
· Ian Baker-Finch's golf bag and clubs used in the
early 1990's
· Photo of Walter Hagen and Joe Kirkwood playing at

It is also believed to be the first time the QGU's three
most significant trophies - the T.B. Hunter cup (awarded to
the winner of the Queensland Open) the Queensland Close Championship
Trophy and the Queensland Amateur Trophy will be on public
display together.
