Many of the Queensland Golf Union's day-to-day operations are overseen by a number of sub-committees. The roles these sub-committees play are many and varied, as are the issues they address. The President is ex-officio to all sub-committees.

In addition, special purpose sub-committees may be formed to address specific issues from time to time.
